Vintage midcentury lion piggybank with happy colorful smiling face. He has a
Picasso-style hand-painted face, whiskers and mane. Very midcentury design. He
is signed “Italy” on bottom. He has a sunshine yellow glaze with spongeware
orange marks, his mane is alternating red and blue curlicues, he has Phillips
screwdriver/plus sign eyes, a red nose and black whiskers. He is fun and regal.
Coin slot in back. No other piggy banks like him were available online at time
of this posting.

Size: 8.25” x 6.25” x 5.5”

Condition: Very good vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. Some of
the handpainting of the mane is scuffed a little. No rubber stopper for bottom
of coin bank (inexpensive replacements available online if desired).
