This is a Bank/Safe that I made out of Oak hardwood, New Zealand Pine and a
116 year old CIRCA 1906 Combination lock Post Office box door.
A conversation piece, Let one of these beautiful antiques add a touch of quiet
elegance to your mantel or shelf or make a charismatic gift.
The door is cast alloy with a glass window.
The door has been restored by me. The door has a two digit combination lock.
The combination is supplied with the bank. The CIRCA sticker on the window is
for your information and can be easily be removed. I suggest you put on the
bottom or the inside for future reference.
The Bank measures 6 1/4" high by 5" wide by 4" deep. The bank has felt pads on
the bottom and is signed.
The wood case is finished with environmentally friendly clear satin finish and
has felt pads on the bottom. The coin slot on the top has a solid brass plate
on it.
I have been making these banks for many years and it is still fun to see an
old postal door restored and made into an heirloom to be passed on to future
generations.
Historical information, a combination card and my card is supplied with the
bank.
