Gorgeous, rare, working... did we mention gorgeous? Half Art Deco, half
industrial, and completely amazing, it's a colorful piece of American history!
This is the Corona Four model, dating to 1929, and was one of a limited number
of machines that were made with a special DUCO finish by DuPont. An innovative
and long-lasting finish, this breathtaking machine has held up remarkably well
over 90+ years, and is ready to be a stunning and colorful addition to any
office or writer's room!
It's still in good working condition, with the one note being that when on the
"red" setting, the ribbon doesn't lift up quite high enough (see type sample).
Use a single color ribbon, or keep on the black setting, and it's golden - all
keys strike firmly, and other moving parts all work smoothly. Cosmetically,
it's in very good vintage condition for its age - only light wear or blemishes,
and overall it still displays beautifully & authentically, with an amazing
colorful profile that belies its 90 plus year old age!
A sleek and stunning machine that one lucky person will be able to show off!
In the original case, it measures 13" x 13" x 5".
