A classic model from a best-selling manufacturer, this green Smith-Corona
typewriter has that inimitable mid-century appeal!
From 1962, this is the Sterling model in the "Sage Gray" factory color.
Functionally, it's in working condition (the carriage return lever doesn't
spring back after you press it, but it works normally), keys strike cleanly,
moving parts do what they should, and with a new two-color replacement ribbon
installed, it's ready for immediate use!
The mid-century color has a light-to-moderately worn vintage look
cosmetically, with a handful of blemishes, but still retaining most of its
vintage appeal. There'd originally be a white plastic piece that filled in the
"Smith-Corona" cutout on the top cover which is gone, but it has kind of a cool
look without that. As it sits, it's a stylish workhorse - not too shabby for 60
years of clacking!
In the case (may not be the original case, but fits ok), it measures
approximately 15" x 14" x 6."
